I am a perfectionist, I had planned a perfect wedding in Bali and spent 6 months in preparation for our ceremony in Vancouver. Everything that could have possibly gone wrong on the day of our reception did. The wedding planner and all staff at the venue we chose dropped the ball completely. I would say it was one of the worst days/evenings of my life. I was so upset, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I would have prefferred to just forget it all completely. When I got the photos back (increibly fast by Vancouver Industry standards) I was amazed. An evening that made me sick to think about was beautifully portrayed in these photos. While I was so wrapped up in damage control - cikesphoto was able to catch all of the moments I missed. He captured beautiful images of family and friends enjoying themselves. It changed my whole perspecitve on that day. Now I love to look back on those photos and see only the beauty of the day. For this, I am so thankful. I would definitely recommend cikesphoto to friends, we have heard nothing but horror stories about friends who have been married in the City and experienced dissapointment with their photographers and the images of their special day. I have seen the photos that they received and was dissapointed for them - and it wasn't even my day.
